It has always been a family affair at Waco Pool & Spa. Tim McDow first started in the pool industry in 2000 working with renovation company Ceramic Designs. After working side-by-side with the former Waco builder Aquatic Pools for a few years, Tim impressed the owners and hired on as a service tech. Holli - Tim's wife - joined the business in 2002 working in the retail store and after a few short months was offered the management position at the mere age of 20. Jason (Holli's brother) later joined the retail team as a teenager and took on a pool maintenance route soon-after.

Tim, Holli and Jason all found a passion for pools and customer service at a young age and always dreamed of starting their own business one day. When the owner of Aquatic Pools decided to move on at the end of 2007, Holli and Tim took over, and over the next 12 years they built what was known as Waco's premier repair and service company - Waco Pool & Spa (formally Pool & Spa Services).

Jason, meanwhile, had moved to Australia to work in the oil and gas industry. In late November 2014, Jason received a call from his sister - the location of the former Aquatic Pools where they had started their careers had come up for lease. Should they open the retail store they had dreamt of as teenagers? They decided to go for it. So in 2015 Jason returned home with his wife Clare, and went into partnership with Holli and created Heart of Texas Pool & Spa.

Working alongside one another, Tim, Jason and Holli were destined to merge the two companies one day and in 2019 - with Clare signing on, too - that became a reality. Waco Pool & Spa is a proud family-owned and operated business dedicated to creating a fun, safe, easy and enjoyable experience for pool owners and their families.
